Privacy Policy

What We Collect

Boardpack collects the minimum information necessary to assemble your co-op board package:

  • Account information (name, email)
  • Documents you upload (tax returns, bank statements, employment letters, etc.)
  • Data extracted from your documents by our AI
  • Personal statement interview answers
  • Payment information (processed by Stripe — we never see your card number)

How We Use Your Data

Your documents and data are used exclusively to:

  • Extract financial and personal information using AI (Claude by Anthropic)
  • Generate your board application package PDF
  • Draft your personal statement letter

We do not sell your data. We do not use your documents to train AI models.

AI Data Processing

Your uploaded documents are processed by Anthropic's Claude AI to extract relevant information. Documents are sent to Anthropic's API for processing and are subject to Anthropic's privacy policy. Anthropic does not use API inputs to train models.

Data Storage & Retention

  • Documents are stored securely in Supabase with row-level security
  • File access requires authenticated, time-limited signed URLs
  • All documents and extracted data are automatically deleted 90 days after package completion
  • You may request deletion of your data at any time
